A Message from the Mayor of Fountain Hills AZ
December 2, 2008
When it comes to buying Phoenix AZ real estate, there are a lot of great choices. The east valley includes cites like Tempe AZ, Mesa AZ and Gilbert AZ. Most people include Scottsdale AZ and Paradise Valley AZ in the Northeast Valley. The west valley includes town like Peoria AZ and Glendale AZ which include golf and (believe it or not) waterfront communities.
One of my favorite places in all of Phoenix AZ is a town called Fountain Hills AZ.
I have summarized a message from the Mayor of Fountain Hills AZ , Jay T. Schlum which he wrote in the most recent issue of the Scottsdale AZ Associate of Realtors (SAAR).
While many may consider Fountain Hills AZ a bedroom community to Scottsdale AZ, (Fountain Hills AZ) is quickly gaining its on identity as a great place to experience desert living.
I hope your buyers might be interested in discovering (Fountain Hills AZ), a beautiful community that offers a great education for children, plenty of cultural activities, desert beauty, economic growth and wonderful people and our Yavapi Nation neighbors and their rich Native American history and culture.
Education - The Fountain Hills AZ Unified School District has been award the ‘Excelling School’ label
Cultural Activities - Best known as the home to the world famous fountain which towers each hour up to 562 feet above the beautiful Fountain Hills Lake and Park. Enjoy ‘Ballet Under the Stars’, ‘movies in the park’, concerts and Oktoberfest!
Desert Beauty - known for majestic views of the mountain ranges including Four Peaks, Mcdowell Mountains and the Superstition’s.
Environment-Friendly - Fountain Hills AZ has taken an active role in helping town residents become more environmentally friendly offering paper-shredding, hazardous waste disposal and electronic recycling events.
Growth - early stages of the development of 1,350 new residences in the northern section of Town and will increase the population which currently stands around 25,000 residents.
Economy - enjoy numerous unique shops and boutiques including specialty jewelry, cafes and large brand name grocery stores and pharmacies.
Neighbors - The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation is a community rich in Native American Culture and we share in numerous activities throughout the year.
Mr. Schlum writes , “welcomes you to experience the (Fountain Hills AZ) incredible beauty, world famous fountain , cultural events, and a welcoming spirit of friendship and service.”
